Dr. sc. ETH, MSc ETH Physics, Swiss Patent Attorney, European Patent Attorney
Studied physics at ETH Zurich, Switzerland, specializing in experimental physics with a focus on astrophysics. Subsequently completed a doctorate at the Institute for Astronomy at ETH Zurich with a thesis on the subject of „Polarimetry of Planets in the solar system and beyond“.
As a doctoral student and then as a postdoc, worked as a scientific assistant and employee at the Institute for Astronomy at ETH Zurich. Main activity at the Institute for Astronomy was collaborating on the development and commissioning of a visual high-sensitivity polarimeter for one of the 8m VLT telescopes of the European Southern Observatory (ESO) in Chile. Subsequently trained and worked for several years as a patent attorney in a Liechtenstein patent law firm. Working as a patent attorney at Swisspat Riederer Hasler Patent Attorneys Ltd. since November 2024.
